For the second consecutive year, Dromana Estate swept through the French- Australian Chamber of Commerce awards night, Le Concours des Vins to win the TOP THREE trophies for its 2010 Dromana Estate Pinot Noir, including the top award for overall “BEST WINE IN THE SHOW, as well as Best Red Wine and Best Pinot Noir.
In 2010 we won the top 3 awards with the Mornington Estate Chardonnay.
Chief Winemaker, Duncan Buchanan commented:
“The 2010 vintage was a winemakers dream hence wines from 2010 across Victoria are of a very high standard so to grab the Best Wine in Show trophy is a great thrill. We are up there with some prestigious winemakers and I’m really honoured to have received this recognition. I have lived on the Mornington Peninsula all my life and as a local lad, it’s not just about the quality of the wine I produce, but also about promoting our incredible winemaking region and the many great winemakers who contribute to its reputation.”
