DINER A LA FRANCAISE is an exclusive diner for francophiles wine enthusiasts to discover the French ‘art de vivre’ at our restaurant and vineyard Dromana Estate.

Join us for an evening unlike any other filled with delicious typical French food including entrée, plat, fromage, dessert – cooked by our amazing Chef Sean, an ‘apero’ on arrival, a wine tasting with Peter M. and Caroline V. will be there to discuss about ‘l ‘Art de vivre à la française’ all along the diner.

Peter Mitchell

Peter Mitchell was introduced to wine at an early age, by a wine loving father. Peter specialises in small cool climate vineyards and had the first wine shop to stock wines from the Mornington Peninsula. He is an importer of small Burgundy domaines, Bordeaux, Champagne, Loire Valley and Provence which allowed him many holidays to France ensuring he brought back the best wine he could find. Peter has spent the last 19 years conducting winemaking and viticultural courses on the Mornington Peninsula

Caroline Vosse is native born and true to her French roots. Joining us for dinner, Caroline will share her “Art de Vivre” (lifestyle); her secrets about femininity, beauty and her favourite places in France that bring back a smile.

Head Chef - Sean


Sean, our Head Chef is approaching his 25th year in the kitchen, with 14 years on the Mornington Peninsula. He specialises in classical French cuisine, but maintains a close eye on the modern cooking movements which gives a beautiful twist to some classic dishes.
