The attractive 2016 vintage (4*) was fermented in a mix of tanks (90 per cent) and barrels (10 per cent). Mouthfilling, it has good concentration of ripe tropical-fruit flavours, with a touch of toasty oak adding complexity and a crisp, dryish (5 grams/litre of residual sugar) finish. Best drinking mid-2017+.
