History

The Mornington Estate range was created to display the varietal diversity of the Peninsula.

One of the world’s most popular grapes, Chardonnay originating from France is made in a wide range of styles from lean, sparkling Blanc de Blancs to rich, creamy white wines aged in oak

Wine Making

The fruit was handpicked and whole bunch pressed simply means that the grapes were not removed from the stalks, this gives a slight green and fresh flavour to the wine. The wine went through wild yeast fermentations and spent time in French Oak barrels

Light & Fresh with notes of white flesh stone fruit, lemon peel, dry fig & fresh pear

Food Pairing

Serve Chardonnay with mild, buttery or creamy dishes. Meaty fish and shellfish, poultry and pork dishes
