2017 ROSÉ

“Rose-aye”

ME Rose

History

The Mornington Estate range was created to display the varietal diversity of the Peninsula.

Rosé is a typically a delicate and fresh wine which incorporates some of the colour from the skins but not enough to qualify it as a Red wine. The longer the fruit has in contact with the skin the darker the wine will be.

Wine Making

This Pinot Noir was made using 100% Pinot Noir grapes, and taken off the skins the day it was harvested leaving it beautifully light in colour

Taste Profile

Fruity and Fresh with hints of strawberry, raspberry & rose

Food Pairing

An exceptionally versatile wine which drinks perfectly on a hot summer’s day or paired with charcuterie, salads, light pastas, fresh fruit, or cold appetisers such as potato or pasta salads
